How long is my membership active?
Your membership is active as long as you do not cancel your reoccurring monthly or annual payment. If you do cancel your payment, your membership will expire at the end of that payment period.
Can I upgrade and/or change my membership?
Yes you can upgrade to the NHA Membership Plus at anytime, your payments will be adjusted accordingly. Downgrades will take effect on your next payment cycle.
What exclusive discounts do I get?
As a benefit of membership, you will receive a one-time 20% off discount for store products, and before you are eligible for a free recertification, you will receive a 20% off recertification discount. These discounts will automatically be applied in the store when you checkout.
Can I use both at the same time?
Only one discount can be applied at a time. If you have both discounts available to you, and both recertification and store-products are in your cart, the recertification discount will apply. For best results, checkout with your recertification and store products separately.
What does “Recertification fee(s) included" mean?
Once members have paid either 20 consecutive monthly payments or 2 consecutive annual payments, the next recertification is covered. If members need to renew before they have met the above criteria, they will receive 20% off their upcoming recertification. You must also complete your required continuing education credits before recertifying.
Should I join the NHA Membership or NHA Membership Plus?
If you currently hold one NHA Certification you should join the NHA Membership. If you currently hold more than one certification or plan on earning another certification in the near future you should consider joining the NHA Membership Plus so that all of your recertification fees will be included.
What members-only content do I get?
You'll receive a members only newsletter featuring exclusive webinars, blogs, tips and more. Members will also have access to ask questions to experts in your field, opportunities to engage with NHA and members only contests.Additional membership benefits to come.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at anytime by logging into your NHA account and navigating to the My Membership section on the left hand navigation. Once you cancel you will lose all benefits.
What if I leave the membership? And then rejoin?
All discounts expire when your membership is inactive. If you rejoin the membership, and have already used your one-time store discount, it will not be available to you again. If you have not yet used the discount, it will be available. The recertification discount is available until you are eligible for a recertification with no fees. It is important to note that eligibility towards a recertification with no fees resets if you leave and return to the membership. You will have to make your required number of consecutive payments to earn your recertification with no fees.
Can I change my plan?
You can modify the details of your membership at any time. If you wish to upgrade your plan the change will take place immediately. As a courtesy, the cost of the upgrade will be discounted by a pro-rated amount based on the plan you already have. If you wish to downgrade your plan, the change will take place when your next auto-payment is drawn. That way you don’t lose any of the benefits you have already paid for.
